The work-positioning belt is intended for the use of linesmen and other workers required working at heights on poles or other structures in a supported position thereby enabling them to have both hands free for working. (They are not intended for fall arrest) A D-415-F may also be integrated with a full body harness, giving full fall arrest protection combined with a work positioning facility.

The D-415-F is manufactured from strong durable polyester webbing and is fitted with a wide back support. A fully adjustable body belt and pole strap makes it easy for the wearer to obtain a comfortable fit and at the same time to able to achieve the correct working position required.
