Ball Bearing Swivels

Swivels are essential for effective pulling operations of underground cables and overhead conductors. The swivels are fitted with bearings to prevent build up of twist in the cable pulling bond. CBS swivels are precision manufactured in high-grade steel with a plated finish. The safe working loads are based on a factor of safety of 3:1.

Fused Swivels

Fused swivels are used in applications where the pulling force must not be exceeded. The fuses are replaceable and allow the swivel to break when then maximum applied load equals the rating of the fuse.

Insulated Connected Assembly

Connector Assemblies are provided as an effective method of joining two cable pulling grips together when pulling O/H conductors. This Insulated Connector, designed to meet ‘National Grid Specifications’ has been designed to insulate the joined Pulling Grips to stop the transfer of Induced Currents travelling along the length of conductor.
