Hand Operated Hydraulic Compression Tool

The Y35 tool is a compact portable self-contained hydraulic hand compressor, rapid ram advance with swivel G head, positive push button die locks.

The Y35 is supplied in a steel carrying case, which has integral die storage compartment (no die).

Full range of “U” dies for:-
• Cable Lugs and fittings (LV/HV) cables
• Overhead Line connectors & fittings including ABC

Hydraulic Pressheads

The Burndy Y35 Hydraulic Compression Tool is also available as a remote head.

Hydraulic Pump

Foot operated double speed pump, developing a maximum pressure of 700 bar. The pump is supplied with 3m long high-pressure flexible hose complete with female self-lock quick coupler.

Pressure can be withdrawn at any time during operation by depressing the release lever. A solid shaped stand gives the pump stability during operation.
